Ali and Dave were one of the most genuine and fun loving couples I’ve ever photographed. We started their engagement shoot at the Virginia Beach oceanfront where the sun lit up the golden sand. Dave was a trooper and kept on his nice leather shoes while Ali went barefoot.
Our next stop was Seashore State Park (64th street entrance). This is my favorite location in Virginia Beach. It’s a local favorite filled with beaches, Spanish moss, and fascinating scenery. It is the perfect place to catch the sunset and we did just that!
This was both Ali and Dave’s first time visiting the park and I must say I love showing my clients new locations.
This next part is where the real fun began. We walked over to the beach where fallen trees and roots populate the sand and a group of people were partying on a boat! They were playing rap (which honestly doesn’t set the mood very well for a romantic shoot) and once they realized what they were doing they started playing romantic country music! It was like we had an audience cheering us on. It made us all smile as we walked along the coast.
They are the cutest couple! Am I right? I can’t wait to shoot their wedding in 2019.
I am still booking for 2018 and 2019. If you are interested in booking please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
